Is there an app that tells you if you forget your watch?

I meant to touch on that when I posted. I remember you saying you didn't use ADM. That's pretty strange. I mean, good for them for adding functionality. Too bad it broke a third-party option that did the same thing. I'm keeping the one that I installed on my watch. I use it more for the reminder when I get away from my phone than to find it. I usually remember where I left it or at least what room I last had it in.

Can you block the ADM app from the watch?

No. :( I have to assume because it is not treated as or considered something that "Notifies you".

Johnny, did you install ADM on your phone??? Assume so.
hmmmm. /thinking
The other day when we were talking about this I tested ADM from the browser. Remember I did NOT install ADM on my phone. I got a notice on my phone AND on my watch that ... well here:

I wonder if maybe that enabled it on my watch?!? I will reset the watch to test this thoery...

Yes. I've got it on my phone and my tablet, so that I could potentially locate either if lost or stolen from the other one (or, obviously, from the browser).

I'm wondering if it doesn't push something to the phone when it locates it?

I reset my watch to see if I could get rid of Android's Device Manager "Find my Phone" app.
Nope. It's in there.
I'm thinking this was added in the last update now...

I agree, seemed to show up after the last update.
