Ok so i travel a lot for work and my wife sends me nude pics and what not, sometimes even video....is there an app that i can store video and pictures but have it password protected? Or can you create a folder and password protect it?

also i hate how you can go to "files-download" and see what i have downloaded....any help there? I try to delete it but it deletes it all together off my phone.

Samsung Galaxy S

Thanks =]

Perhaps if you post a few it will inspire an answer from someone?

Ok, I tried. But seriously. There's an app in the market called vaulty that looks like it would work.

vaulty looks cool but i read several stories where the info was deleted....photovault and videovault look cool but two apps??? really???

i found one called "smart applock free" you can buy the pro version the free version lets you lock up to 5 apps. With this app i created a folder and clicked and dragged everything i needed in that folder and inserted it into my smart applock....The short cut to the folder is on my home screen but if you go to open it you need to draw a pattern. so far so good.

Not sure what you're expecting. Either the files are in the download folder or they're not. What are you hoping to achieve?

Vaulty really works. It's easy to use, and it keeps all the pictures you want hidden. I haven't tried it wit video, but I'm sure it'd work.

Vaulty Free

I have Vaulty Free for this very reason and it works great for pics and videos. Good thing, as my kids play on my phone, but my wife's pic and videos are hidden from the kids.

I use fishbowl photo gallery. I am not sure if it is better than the ones mentioned here but you can categorize your pics and vids into different folders and hide the folders that you want. The only problem with this is if you open the stock gallery, although pics are separated into their created folders,the hidden folder is not hidden, only hidden if using fishbowl. My hidden folders start with the letter "z" so that folder is at the end of list when I use gallery.

Vaulty

Vaulty Free hides them completely. It removes them from the Gallery too. Basically, it hides them on the sd card, and can only be viewed when you sign in. But ... be careful setting up a new phone, because when I did, some of the pics showed up in the gallery. My wife would be mortified if she knew what the kid at Verizon may have seen...:icon_eek:

Just downloaded vaulty free and appears to be the one to do the trick, although haven't used it yet. Thanks for the info everyone.
