Just wondering if anybody has heard of or has a live tv app for the droid. I dont want an app that allows you to watch prerecorded shows online, but a live streaming app. Just curious if there is one out there.

Sounds like a good idea, but things like that mean monthly subscriptions. It'd be a good app though, as the US is finally starting to pick up on streaming live tv through cell phones.

I used SPD on my Nokia (ATT) and it had problems streaming videos reliably. Also a lot were in foreign languages. Another current ap is Jetflicks TV which streams programs to your phone (you can select show and episode) and works quite well on the Droid (it will go subscription in January because it is not ad supported). I think CBS has a Andy app for their programs too.

There's a CBS app that shows CBS affiliated channel video. Some full length, some short clips (Showtime, CNET & a few other channels).

Purchased SPB tried it and returned it immediately, would not stream, channels would not open. I update my PRLs and I have solid 3G reception. A NO GO for me.

I had the FLO TV on my Voyager and while it worked, I found I never looked at it more than an few seconds at a time (except for the Inauguration).
