Is the Motorola Droid getting 2.1??

I saw yesterday that we got an email from the forum saying that the motorola droid will be getting the 2.1 update within the next couple days. However I just read this story

Did I miss read the email from the forum or is this article not accurate?? I want the 2.1 but I do not want to install it myself until it actually comes from verizon.

ok fellas you made your point. Short answer is YES 2.1 is coming to the Droid. I am gonna close this thread though since ther are so many out there already.
