The reason I'm asking this is because I downloaded the app a few weeks back and tested it. I don't remember the exact speed I got using the app but I ran the test a second time using my phone's browser not the app. I did this three times and all three times the browser speed was faster than the app speed. As a matter of fact the browser speed was off the app's speed scale. I tested the app then browser then app again then browser again for a total of three times. Each pair of tests were done within a minute of each other. All three got the same results. All three tests were done on wifi. Has anyone else seen this?

Yea its pretty accurate. If you doing it on wifi you should always see very similar speeds within your results cause the signal is the same. Use 3G or 4G and you can go into tools in the app and change what tower you connect to. You'll see the difference in speed then.
