Settings -- data usage -- scroll down to "by application" -- click an app -- restrict background data.

How long did you let Ampere run before taking that screen shot? Within seconds my max went from 700 to 910. And now it's up to 1720.....now 2020...

this is the original fast charger with fast charging on. I also have WiFi and I'm using the device to text.

Now if I were to leave it alone I'm sure it would go even higher, but I'm trying to measure it with some light use

That was me quick charging with the bundled samsung charging block and (what I'm pretty sure) is the cable as well. I only posted that after letting the app run very shortly though.

Phone just got hot and dropped a percent while charging and being used wtf!! worried it's getting messed up again and I spent 85 bucks on a fix -_-

Don't use your phone while charging and see how it works when unplugged form the charger.

Does that estimated time green graph look normal? I know the samsung store was able to diagnose the issue simply by looking at that.

Alright, how about this here? It went down to 99% a minute or so after charging with an estimate of 4 hours left.

Lol, alright, I've decided my battery life is alright. I've been doing pretty decently. The fact that it charges really slow while it's on is the only thing I think I'm still kinda concerned with.
