Here's my question. Is it possible to get online on xboxlive without a pc in the hardware configuration? As in, buying the 99 dollar wireless adapter, and hooking it up to a rooted droid with wifi tether, wirelessly? Will the 360 recognize your phone as a modem or... all I wanna know is whether or not its possible because I have no pc.

I believe if you search the topic you'll see that it can be done, but could lag a lot, and you might use an unbelievable amount of data. Yes, data is unlimited but you will probably bring up some red flags at Big Red.

Does the 360 recognize an ad-hoc network? If so your good.

Does the XBox Live specifically state that a PC is required?

If it does work, gameplay might be a joke...
