I have no home internet just the 4G connection on my phone. I can get Pdanet to work with my mac but can't bridge the
    connection to my xbox360.

I've watched a ton of tutorials on youtube but none of them seem to work. Is it possible to get this working with just
sharing the wifi connection from my mac while tethering with pdanet?

My pdanet doesn't have a hotspot. I'm using an older version and the only way I can get it to work with my computer is through usb tethering.

If that connection works I should be able to connect my xbox to my mac via internet sharing right? But when I test the xbox connection to
    my computer it just fails.

Ok, i think the problem is that while using PDAnet the xbox can't connect to DNS servers.
I've tried Google public DNS 8.8.8.8 but it didn't work.
Anyone know how I can resolve the DNS issue?

Is updating to a newer version of PDAnet an option?
