Is it possible to root the Droid 3 without a pc just sd card?

I've read all over the internet and have had no luck finding any info on rooting from sd. Im on my honeymoon vacation and don't have access 2 a pc only my xoom. I have safestrap backups and titanium backups. Is there any way to maybe get my apps back from those without root?

As far as I know you will need a PC to root the D3. The exploit it uses does not allow for an app to handle the process.

It has been a little while since I had to deal with Moto so I could be wrong.

At this time there is no possible way to do this exploit on the phone. It requires adb and rebooting the phone. There is a tool, but the tool is installed on a computer. AFAIK there are no other "ideas."
