Is it possible to hide info displayed when selecting a contact

I've viewed many of the privacy/security treads and still have a question; is there a mechanism to display specific data when selecting a contact? For exp, when I select I contact, I would rather not have the notes displayed.

I don't think so, but what you could do is create a separate contact with the same name. eg "John Doe" and then "John Doe2"
