Hey all,
I got my 1st Droid the morning it came out.
Friday Nov 7th @ 7:00 am.
From Friday to Sunday that phone Force Closed like crazy and would shut down about 20-25 times.
Sunday Nov 10th
I brought my Droid back for Droid # 2 another Brand New phone.
This one had a couple of problems, but no biggie.
Then it started Force Closing everything, all the time for random apps.
It would shut off on my everyonce in a while and wouldn't turn back on, till you took the battery out.
Went to Verizon stores many of times.
They told me just to take the battery out and put it back in.
Bullshyt!!!! I'm not doing that for a Brand New Phone that I paid for.
Verizon Wireless didn't give me Shyt for Free!!!!
So I go to another VZW and the tech tells me wait for the update Android 2.0.1. I got it Dec 7th.
Still had problems..........
So I went back a couple days later Dec 11th and they ordered me a Refurbished phone, since it was a couple days past my 30 days. I didn't care as long as I had a good phone.
Dec 14th - I get my phone Droid # 3 start switching everything over and setting up.
I did notice that the Power button did feel already depressed.
Didn't think anything of it though.
In the middle of activating it up the phone goes dead.
No matter what I do, I cannot get this phone to turn on.
The most I get is the lights for the Back, Menu, Home and Search Haptic buttons to light up. And the power button with make the phone vibrate.
The same day VERY PISSED off I go straight to VZW and wait for 2 hours.
Then they finally tell me that the manager is not there and I have to come back tomorrow. WTF!!!!!
Dec 15th go back to VZW.
I get taken care of. Droid # 4
Brand new phone no more refurbished BS.
I waited those days because the "tech guys" told me to wait for the update and to do all sorts of other BS.
Jan 4th- I'm thinking to myself.
"This is great, my phone is working perfectly!!!!"
Jan 5th - Dun Dun Dunnnnn..........
Facebook app - Notifications function will not update.
Gives me this message "Cannot retrieve the notifications. Please try again later.. [601/parser error:unexpected '-' at position 57.]"
I didn't sweat it, it came before and went.
I assumed it would go away.
NOPE.... that was only the begining

Facebook notifications still in they shytter.
Then my AOL email app, Force closing seconds after everytime I open it.
WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I get outta work 4:30 that day.
Hey.... Good news my Aol mail app is now working properly.
YEAHH!!!!!!!!

LATER THAT DAY -
I go to use my phone and.....
-The Home button (little House) and the Search button (mag glass) don't work.
-Also.... the power button when held does not give me the regular menu.
I can only turn the phone off with it. (No Airplane mode etc.....)
-The "Dot Security function was turned OFF and will now not turn back on.
WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I began to wish Diarreha on Motorola and Verizon at this point many many times..

Hoped it would all go away.
No such luck.
Called VZW to see if the techs are in tomorrow jan 8th.
Jan 8th -
Called Motorola, since the VZW people and techs don't know shyt about the phone.
Call up Motorola. The guy on the phone knows less than the VZW people!!!!
The only usefull information he does give me is how to do a Master Reset.
But I'm not going to do this till I get to VZW and log my problem.
So later after work I'm going straight to VZW.
I'll b1tch and moan a little later.
