Is BlurPhone.apk the stock Dialer app?

And if so, can I change the extension to .bak since I am using Dialer One?

The reason is because every time I end a call after using Dialer One to call, the screen always drops back to the stock dialer until I exit and re-enter.

Does this happen to others? Is it safe to remove/change the extension on that file if that's even the right file?

When you are done with a call, do you not get a menu to choose which app to use? I have aTakeOne and it always asks me and gives me the option to make it or the stock dialer the default for that action.

You may want to go into the stock dialer app and clear the defaults if it is set. That way you should get asked the next time and you can choose D1 and make it default.

Just a thought. I'm assuming X works similar in that way to Droid 1.

Well the first time I clicked the Dialer icon after I downloaded Dialer One, it prompted me to set the default of the two, where I chose Dialer One. It stays the default when I re-enter the Dialer again, no problem there. But every time I hang up from a call afterwards, it goes to the stock Dialer screen and I have to get out of that, very weird.

Anyone know if that file I mentioned is the stock app and can I change the extension on it to get rid of it?
Or is BlurPhone.apk actually the phone app (like when you are IN the call?). I did not see any "Dialer.apk" file.

Also, what is the Work Contacts apk?

Nevermind, I uninstalled Dialer One. The skin on it kept turning clear after a few times going in the app and back out, making the number pad have no buttons, just numbers. So screw it!

For the record, the devs have stated that renaming any files with "blur" in it is. No no. So id be careful if anyone wants to try something like this in the future.

Just a friendly warning for others who might read this :)
