Is battery life primarily a 4 g issue?

My battery life has been fine...in a 3g area. Just wondering if its when the 4G radio kicks on does it affect the battery?

I would have to say so. I've posted this countless times but:

On WiFi after 7 hours with Display on for 2 hours, my phone is around 50%
On 4G after 7 hours with Display on for 2 hours, my phone is dead.

After seeing the thread where OP said (s)he is returining their TB in the morning, I decided I'd test this tomorrow. Now that I have a few days of 4G usage under my belt, I plan to do my next two working days on 3G only and see if I notice a significant difference.

I'm thinking that HTC will be forced to do something either a 4G toggle...or an upgraded battery free of charge.
