is 2.2 still not able to disable screen lock and other ?s

Title says it all. Before when i tried to move to 2.2 i ended up reverting back because the screen lock disable didn't work. Also, have you noticed better battery life with 2.2? Is there still lag when scrolling contacts? Lastly, is there a simple way to go to 2.2 without losing everything?

as for screen lock

There is many programs to do this. I use to use MyLock free program. I have recently purchased switchpro widget which allows up to 8 configurable buttons. I set mine up to 5 so it matches system widget. It has an option to lock/unlock screen automatically. Works well for me on all my phones droid 1, droid x and the incredible which I sold.

No reason to get an app to do what is supposed to be done by the oem software
