So I was wondering how I could take it off my Ipod and put it on my Droid? Thanks, Also did anybody buy the BrandNEW Xbox360 yet? cause im going to get that tomorrow!

Plug the ipod into the restored computer and synch it. itunes should make a backup of all your songs on the computer as long as you aren't over the limit of authorizations for that itunes account.

Another option would be to see if you can get the ipod mounted as a usb drive on your computer and drag/drop them onto the PC and then onto the droid. You may have to click the check box in itunes to allow usb mounting on the ipod to get that to work.

Are you sure about that? I'm pretty sure if he tries to sync, it's going to nuke his iPod. I didn't think the iPod could do reverse sync, I know none of mine can.

No, not sure because I have never tried to sync an ipod/iphone to a computer that had not previously been connected to that device. It's worth a shot though unless itunes somehow locks the ipod afterward.

A friend of mine plugged his ipod into my itunes once to play a few tracks on my pc and it worked fine. We didn't try to remove those tracks to my PC though, not sure what would have happened then.

I am thinking that if he logs into his itunes account with the same info that he previously used for that ipod he should be fine. Otherwise anyone who ever lost a computer and had to start over would lose all their music which doesnt sound right. Anything is possible with Apple though!

I second this. There is NO WAY to get music OFF the iPod using iTunes. You should look for a 3rd party software solution to do that. Once you have the music on the PC, then you can load it onto the droid.

you can transfer purchases onto a computer. I actually used doubletwist and ended up with some of my itunes purchases being playable on my droid as well as all my other music from CDs that were on there too

If it's jailbroken, you can transfer the music folder out of it. If not, you can find one of numerous programs that can take pull them out for you, other than that, there is no other way. If I remember correctly, iPhoneBroswer works well for browsing files on your iPhone/iPod Touch.

If you copied the MP3s to your computer, there's no rush anymore. Doubletwist is just for getting them from the PC to and Droid.

They ARE mp3s, right, and not m4a or something?
