According to CNN a news conference should be going on right now about Verizon getting the iPhone.

Android is gonna remain on top y'all. Its an amazing OS and this is comin from a man who has most of his friends owning iphones and seeing that that linux system is superior. Even tho I'm like the odd ball out in my friends when it comes to phones its well worth it and I think they will eventually switch to big red and then own an android device. Just a guess but I really think android/linux will remain on top due to it always getting new technology

LOL, luckily forum posts aren't legally binding contracts, but I'm with you... VZW didn't need this but I guess they are trying to put the last few nails into AT&Ts coffin for their cellular division.

Really? there's nothing new about cdma radios... and you can be sure that's ALL apple did for this was change the radio to make it cdma compatible. BUT I'm sure they will release a new device with some minor upgrade in hardware within 4 months so everyone can buy it again.

Majority of vzw customers are 3G customers and might not be able to afford to go 4G. Why would vzw put the iphone on 4G when they could keep it a cdma/3G phone and sale more than they would if they had it on 4G? I just think the iphone is gonna remain on 3G tech while android will have dual core processors (tegra processors) on a much faster up to date 4G network. Just what I'm thinking. By the way we have many loyal android users
