Thanks xkape, I will when I get a chance
Okay, guys, I tried several times to edit "edit_event_all_day_label" in the edit_event.xml within the layout folder of the unthemed version of the Inverted Calendar (the one from September, which doesn't have the large white "+" sign issue, but does have the black on black text for All day event in the new event screen). The editing and repacking went fine, but it won't open when I install it in /system/app.
Therefore, I'm attaching the original unthemed Inverted Calendar that I didn't have any luck editing, in the hopes that someone else will. Of course, this won't be necessary if Tallica can get his transparent background .9 png working right.
(This is just the apk, with the .apk extension renamed to .zip.)
GLD, try these... hopefully one will work, they are zips...
snead, Cal1 WORKED perfectly (I didn't even try Cal2, but should I?)!!! You're my HERO!!!
You can try it just to see, I am glad it worked....
Okay, installed Cal2 and it works perfectly, as well. What is the difference between the two?
By the way, I love your Meta-Inf in your update zips!!
I've updated the OP with attached update zip files for unthemed and blue-themed inverted Calendar options, both with snead's text fix.
In one of them I added in a textColor for white, the other I just removed the Inverse from the textAppearance...
Thanks for this!
ok...dumb question...but what should I be looking for to delete in order to install this...
Running sourcery 1.1
If your current calendar is called Calendar.apk in /system/app, then you don't need to delete anything -- the update zip will replace it. However, it's named CalendarGoogle.apk in /system/app, you need to delete it or rename it to Calendar.apk before applying the update zip from recovery.
It's always a good idea to make a nandroid backup before you install!
Thank you very much!!
