I used to have the motorola a855. I loved the texting app that came on the phone. I now have the charge and am very unhappy with the texting.

1.Is there any way I can get the app from the A855 onto my charge?
    2. Is there a similar app--
the intuitive texting seemed much better
punctuation options appear when you finish a word.

    thanks for any help

I agree with you that samsung keyboard input stinks. I have loaded SwiftKey X... And am very happy. Well worth the money. I don't know how it would compare to your old keyboard... But it's word recognition is insanely better then the defualt samsung input.

I have used flext9 which had the swipe feature that I love and seems to work much better than the Charge's swype.

I also have SwiftKey x which works great but no swype option. If it had swype it would be perfect.

Their keyboard options DO SUCK. Motorola has the best keyboards. Have you tried to adjust the T9 settings? Mine is a little better after changing some settings.

Swiftkey x is, in my opinion, the best keyboard out there hands down. Their prediction algorithm is really good. The default on the Charge does suck and I tried and never got used to swype, I couldn't be accurate with it even after trying it for a week.

I removed the intuitive portion of the keyboard. It was constantly screwing things up. Maybe I'll try a new keyboad all together soon.
