Hi all. Got new droid bionic yesterday. I came from an htc incredible. I really like the bionic so far
impressed with the increased speed! I cant seem to figure out how to turn off the notification
chime when i get an email. Its chiming all day long...ive gone ubder settings-sounds but cant find anything
please advise. Thank you!! Ansa82

Go in the setting from your email. The home key will be your best friend...

Open your email program. Press "menu" hard key. Select email settings > notifications > select ringtone. Change it to "none".

Now if there are apps installed that i dont like or intend to use how do i get rid of them?

When you open manage applications click on the app you want to remove and then on uninstall

Yeah like blockbuster and kindle...stuff like that. Its not gonna let me take them off is it?

You'll have to root if you want to get rid of the pre-installed apps, or if you can wait, the ICS update will have an option to (mostly) get rid of it.

You can't remove apps that came pre-installed unless you are rooted :( and what ^^ he said :)
