Intro: new member

Cliff here. Just bought the HTC thunderbolt, os 2.2. I am hearing lots of different info on release dates, whether it will be 2.3 or 2.4. I assumed I can dl and then install latest OS, as in flashing firmwear updates. I know my way around MS &Linux pc's, but smart phones are virgin territory. Thanks, in advance, for amy 'hand-holding' offered out there!!!

Welcome to the site. Gingerbread is 2.3. I don't have a Tbolt, so I can't really give any specific info though.

I'm at work still so I can't link threads, hopefully someone will come along and get u what u need. If not I will ne able to help u out with what u need.
