Just got my insurance claim phone in the mail, loved my phone the way it was before. The phone I just received has 2.2 preinstalled, am I stuck with 2.2 currently or is there a way I can root now? Thanks to anyone that can help.

So do I have to use one of these one step programs or can I use the old update.zip way like I originally did?
