I followed the guide for how to root the droid charge and I installed the kernel it told me to install as well. I want to install the tweakstock rom, do I have to install the kernel with it or will it work with the one I already have?
To install a new kernel can I just install it or do I have to uninstall the old one first.

    Thanks

Each ROM is going to flash a kernel, it will be whatever one the developer of the ROM includes. If you want to use a different one, perhaps you have a favorite one that runs well on your phone, then you would need to install it with each new ROM flash. If you do not want to flash a different kernel then you do not need to.

Well just looking around real quick I realize how much I do not know about the charge. Let me see if I can grab someone who is a lot more knowledgeable about it then myself. I don't want to mess you up more then I help.

Which guide are you using to try and do it with? And is it just not working or are you not sure how to?

The guide I am using just says to flash CWM on my phone, but I have no idea how to do that. Once I have clockworks on my phone I know what to do
