im am lost, someone please help.... i tried installing the kernel to allow oc but getting stuck!!!
Are you using SetCPU? If not, go get it, you need it to actually overclock.
And if you already are using SetCPU, did you allow the app to autodetect your device? If you select Moto Droid, you will only be able to clock on default, which is 550.
EDIT: Found this: http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-hacks/24823-installed-bb-1-1-now-cant-get-past-550mhz.html
Appears it doesn't come with an OC kernel.
yes i tried the auto detect,it just tells me frequency options changed...
Also make sure you download one of the other kernel roms. Another post said to use one of the chevy1 kernels, which I did and it is working. Mine is set to 800mhz and everything is great with BB1.1
I edited my post. BB 1.1 doesn't come with an overclock kernel.
that is where im getting stuck, how do i install that kernel?
See this post, and try a search next time
ooops, my bad...
