Alright, I'm running a 32-bit Windows 7 laptop and I just tried installing the driver for my droid to help me root my droid. When I get through the installation this comes up...

    Ummmmmm......

So maybe you already have the drivers installed?

Have you tried RSD to flash the SPrecovery .sbf?

No I haven't done anything that involves the SPRecovery, it just finished installing and i haven't touched it yet. The only thing i did was opened the USB_Drivers download and tried installing it and that's what came up.

Are you sure nothing will be different just because I'm using a different USB Driver?

All those drivers are for is for your computer to see and recognize your phone when you are in RSD Lite. You will not be putting them on your droid. Open RSD Lite, boot into bootloader and flash SPRecovery. There is a step by step instructions link in my signature
