Ok lately I get the following error messages when I tried to update my apps: "installation error insufficient storage available". This happened when I tried to update Handcent and I had another incident when trying to update AFirewall. Anyone knows why this is happening?

Because you don't have enough storage space available? But in all seriousness, try going into settings, applications, manage apps and clearing the caches on your apps.

Were the apps you were trying to update restored on your phone by apps such as titanium or astro? I've been having some hit or miss scenarios on the first upgrade after recovering an app.

I recently fixed my handcent problem by completely uninstalling the app and re-downloading.

A complete uninstall and reinstall of the app works for me when i have this problem. (Aside from Google Maps sometimes)

I had the same problem with Handcent after a Titanium backup on BB v0.9. Uninstalled and reinstalled without incident. Also noted with smartkeyboard pro also fixed with uninstall and reinstall. I looked in setCpu under system info and I have only 4515 KB memory free, without that many apps installed or running. I don't claim to have any clue about memory management with Android.

Def not an issue with storage/space on the phone, this sounds more like a Titanium backup issue. The uninstall/install method works but it will remove ur settings.
