I searched to find an answer to this question and I came up empty handed. I have an LG Spectrum 2; not rooted. My instagram app and phone are both current on their updates. Instagram will only record videos with the front facing camera. If I try to use the rear facing camera to record, I hold down the record button, and when I let off the clip disappears and says "Press and hold to record" in a speech bubble pointing to the record button.
This makes no sense to me and I am so frustrated that I may just quit Instagram all together. I loved this app before, but now that I am unable to use all the new features I am very aggravated. I have patiently waited for an update from Instagram and there hasn't been one to solve this issue. Does anyone else have the same problem? If so, have you found a way to fix it?
