Incredible 2 not recieving texts from two people.

So i got my droid incredible two back in june, and for awhile it worked great. but ever since august started, i haven't been able to send or recieve messages from two people that i talk to regularly. i believe i saw the same topic last night, but i can no longer find it, and after everything the suggested, it still wont work
(this includes uninstalling the facebook app, unlinking the contact, deleting and putting the number back in, and making sure there is no +1 )

i took it into the store yesterday, and they just took the battery out, blew on it, and to go home and see if it would work now, it didnt

Any suggestions on what to do would be great!
