There is no simple answer, only what fits you "best".
Try them all and see which one you prefer.

Orrrrrrrrrrrrr, read the actual threads that are devoted to each individual ROM. People have already posted their likes/dislikes, problems, and comparisons to other ROMs.

I would be so bold as to say you cant go wrong with DroidMod then Metamorph to skin it how you want. I personally dont see much difference from one ROM to another

Its all preference and how your phone acts with a specific rom. My phone hates smoked glass, I get nothing but force closes its annoying so i dont use it. I say either cow or bugless beast as both have been the most stable ive used out of them all!

Each device responds differently to different clock speeds and such so your best bet is to throw a few in you nandroid folder and flash them in and play around and see what works!

I would say "In short, the one that works for you".

Try them out, backup first, because it all comes down to what you want and like...

Well this is like the kid who goes into the candy store. Lots of options. After some deliberation the kid says I want...

Go to the sites and look at the difference, most of which are subtle. The beauty of this device is that you can change. For me the more salient issue is selecting a rooting process that you are comfortable using. That process will provide you the flexibility of switching Roms.

    My 2 cents.
