in India with global roaming package, not updating to local time

    That's about it. I'm in India, and the $64.99 roaming package is great for getting email, maps, etc.

    Unfortunately the time is not updating to local so my calendar is screwy. I had to add a widget just to keep sane w/ local time.

    How can I force it to update to local time? I don't understand why it's not getting it from the network here.

    I've already checked that I'm receiving my location via gps and wifi, using my data roaming and have time set to automatic. Help anyone?

    This is a rooted Droid on Froyo.
