With the possible delay into December and the fact that my iPhone was really bugging the hell out of me, I broke down and picked up the Rezound. I know the Nexus will be a sweet device, but I just couldn't wait any longer.

If anyone has any questions about the Rezound I'll be happy to answer them.

If you would have only waited until Tuesday to buy it you would have extended your return option till January 9th. Plust the Nexus is not extended until December... It's too bad you fell for that.

Regardless I am sure you will enjoy the Rezound! Congrats and you still have 14 days to change your mind. And if you want you can always get the Nexus this Friday if you change your mind.

I didn't fall for anything. There's been multiple reports that it's been pushed back to December. I'd rather get a new phone now that keep waiting around for when the Nexus finally drops.

And I really don't give an F about the return deal. I don't phone hop at all. I'll be happy with my Rezound.

Now once again, if you have a question I'll be sure to answer it.

As he said, should have waited until tomorrow, then you'd have until January 9th to return it for the Nexus.

Seems a bit "trollish", considering you're asking us what we want to know about the Rezound in the Nexus forum.

What phone are you coming from and what have you discovered so far? Surprises? Gripes? A brief breakdown from a fellow DF member would be sweet sauce.

I know you will enjoy the phone.

But yes you did fall for it and by saying you saw multiple posts of the same shows it. They all came from the same source and then it got posted over and over everywhere. It was never true.... But that is here not there. I know the Rezound is a nice phone and I hope you enjoy it!

IMO the Rezound is better than the Nexus anyways. Sense is a optimized user interface. It looks good, performs well and has great features. Samsung is a very untrustworthy company that uses cheap parts for their radios, GPS, and build.

I'm going to probably wait until Friday, and go from there. If there's no NEXUS info I'm going ti swap my RAZR for a Rezound just for the development side (once those ICS Rom's starting coming it'll be so nice). If there's a near launch I'm going to work that out.

Has it been confirmed that the bootloader is unlocked? If so ICS should be closer than expected.

I agree. If I were in the market for a new phone, I'd choose the Rezound over the Nexus and Razr.

So how long do you think it will take until we get a root so I can get all this damn bloatware and sense off? I don't care so much about ICS right now.

Probably soon since that doesn't require an unlocked bootloader, as far as I know.
Could be wrong, but I believe that is the case. The bootloader effects things that would be kernel related.

Nice, I'm going to do it when I get home.

Any update on the bootloader? Devs have been saying that it's locked but not encrypted, but the files to unlock it were removed from the HTC site. What do you think the turn around is for unlocking it, and now long after that will we see some roms?
