Im rooted, if I do the update VZ is pushing, will it be okay?

ok Ive been rooted for awhile now and got the update from verzion awhile ago and accepted it. I am currently running firmware version 2.1-update 1 and was wondering if I should unroot and update to 2.2 or is 2.1 fine?? Just wondering am new to the whole hacking thing thanks..

Im rooted as well, i accept / deny the update.. they keep trying to push the update.. debating on un-rooting just so the notif stops..
