Im fairly green here with programming stuff, and just rooted my droid. Now looking for what to to and how to do it, like people have overclocked to 800, which apparently seems to work well and not overheat.

Where can I go to find how to start to modiify my phone to make it better??

Do I go to 2.1? If so, follow the easy guide to 2.1 that I found on here?

Thanks for helping out someone that isnt as knowledgeable but learning!!

Well to be honest you can do what you want. 2.1 or simple OC or like me install bugless beast. Already OC'd to 950mHz no issues. Just setup Setcpu right and its smooth sailing.

FIRST thing you need to do is put SPRecovery onto the phone and make sure you back everything up.

After search around, there's PLENTY to get you going.

I recommend looking at www.rootyourdroid.com for a good starting place. They have a couple of basic walk-troughs to get you going (including removing default apps).

If you type su in the terminal and it does nothing then you're not rooted...
