iheartradio app won't open on Samsung Exhibit II

Error message "This app ihradio (process.com.clearchannel.iheartradio.controller) has stopped unexpectedly. please try again."Previously ran no problem. have un/reinstalled several times, battery in/out. iheart support says its not them its a device issue. Phone model #SGH-T679 and its a 4G, Android version 2.3.6 with gingerbread. My Any ideas? Please help! I am missing out on my favorite radio shows that are on ihr only!

Welcome aboard! Did you clear data / cache of the app while it was installed (system settings / app manager / all / iHeartRadio)...
