if I have the sound up

If I have the sound up on either the speaker or the internal it sounds like a blown speaker is this normal? I have to put the volume setting down to about half or less.

My external is either at 100% or silent. When on, it doesn't sound blown.
My internal doesn't get loud enough to blow. Haha.
