Not sure where the links on these boards are, but this is one I have had in my bookmarks, its really simple, only took about 15-20 minutes total, if that. How to Flash 5.9.902 or 5.9.905 with Rsdlite - Android Forums

Actually people on here talked me into it and said they'd help me get back when the time came. I was skeptical, but so tired of having no data I went for it. If I stay stuck on 232 its better than what I had. At least the phone works now

This is nice to hear for those people who have been waiting for the ota. I however am running 247 so could care less. Even when there becomes a way to go back in order to get on the ota path im not gonna do it because whats the point if 247 is the ota??

Emmmmm, a factory reset won't put you back to .905, so you're still on the .232 leak that you had before. This means you won't be getting the OTA update to .247. You'll have to manually go back to .905 or forward to .647. You can go to http://www.droidrzr.com/index.php/topic/4026-samurihls-house-of-bionic/ for more information.

Regardless if people talked u into it it is ur responsibility to know what ur doing before u try modding ur device because only u can fix it if something goes wrong or ur off the ota path devs will provided scripts an fixes but u have to apply them

Given that a few will get the update during the soak test despite not being part of it, it might be worth doing a "Check for updates."

Is this a "silent" update? Just curious because I'm going to be in class for awhile and if I get the update I don't want it to start "DROID"ing me.

So I was on .232 and RSD lite to the 905 fxz. Will I get the update or do I need to RSD back to 902 and get the update OTA first?

I know the Soak test OTA will be coming soon so I dont want to miss it!
