When you slide out the keyboard it takes like 30 seconds for the screen to turn portrait. Haha it's verrrry slow too. Im sure this will be worked out soon.

Twisted informed me he worked out the rotation issues but is fw is fubar one of us should have it working again im trying a new setup from scratch gonna see how it goes i was really surprised that data worked i assumed it was all fubar

The big hangup for everyone so far is call audio, with hardware acceleration coming in second and camera and GPS tied for third
If you can find some way to fix the phone calling then this will take off lol

So I guess we will see some new builds a lot faster?

Yes if i cant beat you with quality i sure will with quantity lols 7 hours is ridiculous especially if it errors out mid way and have to start over

little off topic from the main thread but i have 2 questions
1.) Is dual core 2.8 Ghz with 4 GB ram a decent dev comp (at least for gingerbread anyway)
2.) Whats a good place online to get a good comp at a good price? (last one i used was ibuypower like 4-5 years ago and paid about 1300 lol)

btw yes 16 GB is recommended

That will work would be 1 to 2 hour compile time
The one i have now is single core 4gb ram does gb in 3 to 4 hours

A few sites i was looking at were

http://www.googlebb.magicmicro.com/?gclid=CNuX2IW_q64CFQ1chwodZSlwwQ

http://www.cpusolutions.com

All reasonable prices if you can spring for it the i7 is tops apparently in every devs book
