    XDA has a Pre-Pre-Alpha (really) available if anyone's brave enough. I gave it a go - not much works, but it boots up and seems to be a good starting point.     Thanks for the info Inferno.. Going to give it a try! Was about to through the D1 on ebay with all the accessories, but I may have to hold off!

    Yea definitely do - its really cool. You'll want to have a backup handy though cause this is nowhere near daily driver material. Auto-rotate is jacked (for now) - but dev mentioned that he has a fix for it in the works.
