Nifty. Also built-in screenshot functionality without root. That comes in handy.

I have not heard of the Beats thing. Honestly I doubt it, inless it is something baked into Sense or something.

Six Awesome, Lesser-Known Features in Android 4.0 "Ice Cream Sandwich"

Lifehacker just did an article on this. Some of these I had no idea of until now

This is the main one I like: You can use gestures on the multitask screen to "force kill" an app and remove it from memory. I tried this just now and it RULES!

The Labs feature is kinda cool on my Tabs native browser. The night mode on the native browser might be nice as well, especially on amoled screened phones

You can already take screenshots without root. Hold the power key and press home. They save to your camera roll.

The screenshots using the HTC method are compressed though. I found that out the hard way. They are polluted with artifacts, so you will get "good" shots, but not perfect shots.

I usr Power Amp and from my understanding and using the app, it only works on music downloaded on the phone.

Let's try swinging this one back on topic. I personally love the "quick" commands in the ICS browser. I was hooked on chrome for a while but the rendering would flake on me every so often so I switched back to the stock ICS browser(not the Sense ICS browser) and I love it.

Mobile hotspot instant on/off

1) Long press home screen

2) select widget

3) select mobile hotspot

The widget will turn it on/off without having to go through the steps the other way.

This may be known already.I found it by accident.

Does Verizon charge for this? Can they even tell you are doing it?

I have used the wireless hotspot feature off and on over the last year, never abused it but certainly had a few months in the 5GB range mostly from hotspot use. Never heard from Verizon and I do not pay for this feature.
