I want to change my icons to something different and can't figure it out. I have Helix launcher, Weather and toggle clock. Can someone point me in the right direction? Non rooted also.

Isn't bettercut the same program as Helix? I like Helix and want to keep it.

No. Helix is a home replacement. Bettercut is a shortcut editor. Bettercut is what you need to change your icons.

Put your icon sets on your SD card in a folder called icons or something like that. Have the icons you want to change on your home screens. Open Bettercut and click edit shortcut. Click the one you want to change and click change icon. Then choose where the icon is located and pick the one you want to use. If you want to create an icon for something that doesn't already have one then long press on the home screen. Click Shortcuts then bettercut and browse around there. Play with it a bit. It is easy once you get used to it.

i cant find a "how to use bettercut" help file anywhere... can you give a basic run down on how to do it... i know the picture i posted above i got those by just using edit shortcut but from your msg you said create new shortcut, so i do that then it gives me a list... i assume you then click on Make your own? i dont know where to go from that point.

If your rooted I suggest taking the extra step to download the SDK tools and learn ADB to pull and push files. I edited every single icon and graphic on my phone, including market apps. Super east once you learn it... if your a little techy...
