1. You want that $100.00 in your pocket or an Amazon Fire TV don't you? Well here's the deal. With our new updated look we are in desperate need of an updated logo. The 'old' one has certainly served us well, but it's time. Find all the details here: bit.ly/1q0k6Wa

When you bring up your recent apps, you can slide the app to the right. Does that just remove that app from the list or does it kill it too?

Incorrect. For many apps, it only removes them from the recent apps list. It does not kill them. It's not a task manager, just a recent apps list. Google has never said that it kills them, and several reviews of ICS have also stated that many apps still run after removing them from the recent apps list. Installing a task manager, just for testing purposes, will show this to be the case.

I know I've pointed this out before good sir. :p

Dang, I could swear I heard screams when I swiped mine, I assumed they were screams of Death. Perhaps it's just like a little virtual cliff they get thrown off.

It is caused by an app you installed and must likely a recently installed app. It is advertising and a how app developers support their free apps. You can uninstall any apps you installed just prior to when this started until you find the culprit. You can also install Addons Detector or Airpush Detector from the play store and it should give you a list of the apps that push ads to your phone.

Using the add on detector you can see which apps are causing the add ons and which company provides the add ons. I use an mp3 downloader that had add ons. I found the companies that pushed the add ons through the add on app then found their opt out app for those two companies in the playstore. Wahh lahh no more annoying adds since.
