I see many MIUI users jumping ship to IPhone. Amazing how long this thread lasted.
Hoping the OP comes back and says he made the wrong decision! lol

JK. Anyway, Bugless Beast GPA10 Gingerbread 2.3.2 is out in Bugless Forum.

I've always used Apple products, I like the look and feel of the iPhone, I like it's sleekness, it's snappiness, and I've also heard the battery life is great compared to Droids.

I hear you have to hold the iPhone 4 a certain way, or the antenna might not work properly and may drop calls.

not sure why ppl compare the iphone4 to the droid.... its like comparing the droid to the g1

even if I stayed w a 3g phone, iphone4 wouldn't be in my top 5 choices

The same apps that you get in the Android Market are available in the App Store. The App Store you access just like you do the Market and updates for your apps come through there.

iTunes is used to register your phone (I have the iPad) and to get the latest firmware. But I still buy all my music through Amazon. I do that on my iMac and it goes right into iTunes. It's also your backup.

The Market is locked down and prices are higher, but for what you get it's worth the extra money for the apps. Angry Birds for example is free on Android with ad's but it's ad free at the app store for 4.99.

I really don't understand why people say "I just don't like Apple products" without giving a reason. Lot's of people say that. Hey I like Apple and I like Android. I hate Microsoft, but there is plenty of reason for that. I understand that Windows 7 is doing better and that's nice to hear but I've had too many windows computers crash on me and I've lost everything. Never happens with my Mac. Perfect? Nope, I do my maintenance every 2 or 3 weeks and every once in a while I have a disk error but all I have to do is stick a disk in it, reboot, and it have it repair.

I've got a long time before I'll be giving up my D2. 14 months. What will I do then? Will I consider Apple? Yes, I will. But if Android is just smoking Apple out of the Market I certainly won't. My Droid, Mac and iPad have all learned to live peacefully together. I like Google so I'll just wait and see.

This might be a bit off topic but whatever. I think he was arguing that you can't simply drag and drop files on a iPhone like you can't install third party apps. I don't know if this is true i thought it still was. I have two apple products both computers and i absolutely HATE THEM!!! though i am using my macbook omg is it awful!!! I really hate it but it was a gift my parents gave me before they sent me away so i could say much. My other apple device is literally dying right in front of me the screen is slowly going out and i cant do anything about it stupid iMac. My sisters year old dell works hell of a lot better than my year old mac book, and i dont even use it for porn!
To me I can't find a single thing apple does right: Its overpriced, the software is defiantly smooth, No good software available, system managment. I think PCs just do everything better simple as that, the fact I own 2 macs means that I defiantly have some knowledge on the whole apple thing. OH GOD I FREAKING HATE IT!
Its based on opinion and guess what you love your mac or apple device and thats fine I'm not talking down to you or anyone because like I said some people just prefer apple products. Sorry if it sounded mean i kinda wrote this raging on my Mac.
P.S: Parents bought me both the macs one in 10th grade and the other when i went to college.

I'm wondering what apple computers you have, I havent had any problems at all, zero.

And apparently most people who buy them dont either:
Standouts in Customer Service - Businessweek
Apple Again Tops HP, Dell in Customer Satisfaction - Desktops and Notebooks - News & Reviews - eWeek.com
Apple dominates PC customer satisfaction, HP, Dell, Acer improve | ZDNet

Yeah i own the macbook and imac. Dont get me wrong my sisters love there macs... and I think my grandpa had one. I can defiantly see why people can see how windows can be confusing if you don't know much about computers but since I have at least a little bit of knowledge i can safely say I would rather use a PC. And have less problems

I have a Macbook and an iMac. My macbook's CD drive just broke luckily starcraft II is still in there whoop whoop!!!. my imac broke the second year where it just wouldn't turn on for awhile i fixed the problem and just need to be careful to not turn it off too often or else it will stay in sleep mode for a week. My sister hasn't had a single problem with her Dell and according to the list you gave me a lot of people are just love there Dells apparently. I have been in the Apple game a long time and have lots of experience with them and more bad than good.

Your experience is obviously good which I am glad to hear.

But for me macs just don't cut it.

Also my sister had an iPod and it broke... but thats because she dropped it in a pool... So that obviously doesn't count

Maybe things have changed. So if I got an IPhone now I do not have to load Itunes or any of their other software? I can simply sync it like an Android as a USB drive? The other issue I have with apple is most of their products are overpriced in comparison to say PC's. Again just my opinion. I teach in high school and I have a lot of friends that swear by everything apple. Nothing wrong with that, I just don't like them.

You kinda contradict yourself there. The idea that the Android app store has the same apps as the Apple app store is not true. Emulators, Launchers, Rom support, sweet apps that do absolutely NOTHING and a lot more are not in the App Store. I mean you can get them jail broken but im pretty sure that you can't purchase them on the Apple App store. But still pretty sweet games are on the App store so i guess it evens out. Good luck with your iPhone and good luck :)

Hi I'm a drama queen and I'm leaving you droid forums, For I have seen the light and I'm going to drink the apple flavored punch.

Why does anyone even care what these ship-jumpers say and why do they feel the need to announce it, JUST GO AWAY, your stupidity will not be missed.

I'll explain this better so it's easier for you to understand seeing as you are coming off very ignorant and child-like towards me.

I was/am an avid MIUI supporter, and took part in the discussion here all the time. I have respect for everyone here, and had a blast while playing around with MIUI for the months that I was.

My making this thread was to extend my gratitude for the devs, and users for all the help and fun I've had here. If you can't understand that I'm sorry.

To everyone else -

Thanks for your kind replies and input! I'm still waiting on my iPhone and I will report back when I get it.
