I want to wait on ICS - Can I turn off the daily upgrade notice?

I hear many good things about ICS and I'm looking forward to upgrading my RAZR (I've read many good things and a few bad), but I'd rather wait a bit until an update or two is released.

I get a daily annoying notice from (I think) Verizon asking me to upgrade which only gives me a 24 hour "Ask me later" option. Is there any way I can turn this message off?

Thanks in advance for any help.

You'll need to be rooted and use Titanium Backup to freeze the updater.apk app on the phone. You'll then need to clear the cache (which can be done by booting into recovery) to make sure that the downloaded update has been removed.
