I went to my local Sprint store today and checked out the new HTC EVO 4G phone. OMG that phones is gorgeous! I originally thought it would be heavy with such a large screeh but it was surprisingly light and portable. I didn't got really deep into the menus while I was playing with it but the camera/video seems ultra fast. There's also settings to change the ISO on the camera to let more lighting in for dark settings, ugh why can't the Moto Droid have those settings?! That has really been my only complaint about my phone but maybe one day, there will be a fix. Well enough said, just thought I'd give you my first impression of the EVO. :icon_ banana:

Its like Deja Vu... LoL when the Nexus one came out people asked who is leaving the Droid for a N1? Then the incredible came and some people wanted that. Now Evo 4 is here it sounds like you liked it as do a lot of other people lol

Have u heard about the rumored HTC Scorpion? Give it a month or two I'm sure something comparable ormaybe better than the Evo will be out and then you will want that phone lol

This is why I will only upgrade on a yearly basis. By next year when my annual upgrade comes and I'm tired of my Droid, I'll look for what other phones Verizon has.

you do realize that you can upgrade every 12 months even if your on a 24 month contract with Verizon.

And how do you convince them to do this? Every time I've tried I've gotten denied.

Yep, that's technology in general. Just when you think you have a great device (which we do), we always have to be "one-upped" soon after that! LOL I take advantage of the early upgrades through Verizon, maybe by then, it'll be a phone with a 3.0 Ghz processor! :)

no convincing needed just go in after 12 months and you can upgrade.... now you do forfeit your NE2 discount and can only do this on the primary line.

    ive done this several times.
