I Recieved An Update About ICS Coming Soon

I received an update saying ICS was on the way. I just did the update last night thanks to a lot of you guys here. What's gonna happen to those of us that have already upgraded when they push it? If our phones already have it, will it reinstall over it? Or what?

Several users received the notification last Friday, and many others have received it today. It's being discussed in the Droid Razr and Razr Maxx ICS discussion forum in several threads, most notably ICS this week?

If you installed the official OTA update, you won't get anything since you already have it installed. You received the notification because as far as Verizon knows, you're still supposed to be on Gingerbread since your phone wasn't included in the soak test.

If you already have it you shouldn't need to do anything. The soak test will end tonight (though I can't, cough cough, disclose how I know) and a phased roll out of ICS will be starting shortly after.
