Does Windows still see it if you plug it in? If so, there's still hope for you and your Droid.

wrap a wet towel around it and microwave it on 50% power for 9 seconds (1100 watt microwave).

    j/k

good luck, I hope you fix it.

leave it plugged in for 24 hours and im sure it'll turn on, once the battery gets to a certain point it takes a really long time to charge but im sure it will finally boot

+1 on Nate's post....time and time again bricked phones really just have a battery that isn't fully charged. Leave it on the charger. Many times I've seen the advice to not apply roms without a 100% charge.

edit: note to self: type faster. +1 to newton too!

How do I brick my device?:
In most cases, you really have to try, to brick your device. As long as one of the three safety’s built into your phone are functioning, you should have no problem resurrecting your phone.

It is amazing how quickly people panic. If they read they would have previously seen all the non-bricked bricked phone threads.

If we had a brick for every "bricked my phone" thread we could build one heck of a wall... ♪ all in all its just another brick in the wall ♫

Glad everything worked out for dredge, but you are wrong, there have been bricked phones. A DroidMod Dev bricked his phone a couple weeks back while working on stuff. Mainly if you follow the instructions in the forums for known ways to flash ROM's you will be fine, but dev's who tinker with bootloaders, kernels, recovery images, etc... they run the serious risk of bricking their phones. Also, there is a solution for truly bricked phones now, so its should all be academic at this point (minus hardware failures).

good one pthance, i was just going to post about the .sbf solution. now, barring the phone physically breaking (frying the processor/battery from OC'ing), the phone is "unbrickable."
