i have a question about verizon broadband

i have a usb modem i use in a router to supply internet to all my family been working fine for 2years but slow sometimes recently it seems a lot faster but i am having issues at 11 pm every night with the modem says its offline for 5 to 10 minutes then all is fine any clues as to what is going on thanks jim
