Bear in mind, I live near Seattle.
Haven't heard of any trial phones around here.

I did a focus group study today on cell phones.
It was a setup study for a new phone by Samsung.
Two of us came in, one picked for walking through the set up of the phone.
I didn't get picked but it look a lot less time for me than the other guy and I'm still eligible for other cell phone studies.

Oh well, I got $125 from Samsung for their new phone.

Basically, I got lucky.

Many cities have companies that do consumer surveys. They pay pretty well for an hour or so of giving your opinion.
I've only done one of these before and that was a couple years ago on trailers for Avatar.

Today was on cell phones and who'd have guessed? A Samsung survey on setting up their new phone.
I'm sure I got eliminated from doing the video portion because I already knew about it.
It all pays the same.
