finally had my phone replaced as i had broken my charging port a few weeks back (cable would just fall out when plugged in). being an employee, just walked into a store and they just replaced it for me no questions asked :icon_ banana:

came home, rooted it, flashed the recovery image and restored my backup i had created before i swapped out the phone

i was up and running back to where i was in less than 10 minutes!

Hell yea I even back my nandroids up to my external hd. Its nice to know if I wanted I can just nandroid back to my uber noob days. Aaaaah bugless beauty, life seemed so simple then, lol.

Anytime I'm dealing with evolving data I mindlessly repeat "save, save, save!" in my head(sometimes outloud) and good ol nandroid's saved me from many a bootloop.

Sirpsycho is a god amongst men imo!
