HTC will finally be releasing their latest flagship the HTC U 11 in just a few weeks. The specs have just leaked in an image online. The phone will feature a 5.5" QHD display covered in Gorilla Glass 5. The phone will be powered by Qualcomm's octa-core 10nm process Snapdragon 835 processor, and 6GB of RAM. The 6GB RAM option will also come with 128GB of storage while the 4GB of RAM version will have 64GB of RAM. It will also include expandable storage up to 2TB via microSD card slot. Cameras will include a 12MP UltraPixel 3 imaging sensor with f/1.7 lens, OIS, and 4k video recording. The front camera is 16MP f/2.0. The U 11 will have just a 3,000mah battery with Quick Charge 3.0.

Of course the phone will also feature a fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, Wi-Fi ac, HTC's BoomSound, USonic, Hi-Res audio certification, and 3D auido recording. The phone will also feature ip57 dust and water resistance. This means the phone can be submerged in 1m of water for 30 minutes without damage. This is a step up from the HTC 10's ip53 water resistance rating which only protected from a water mist. All in all this is looking pretty interesting.

They are using the Verizon symbol for 4G so I guess this is coming to Big Red.

If it's shipping with Android 7, it'll be fine. The battery improvements of 7.0 have pretty close to doubled my S6's usage time during the day. And we all know how bad they were at power management.
