HTC Thunderbolt unmounted SD Card Problem

For some reason my SD card isn't mounted and mounting is grayed out...


How do I fix that?

i just had the same problem after trying to extract something on my sdcard with efile.

fixed

ok the good news is i fixed it, im not sure exactly how but heres what i did:

took out battery, took out sd card,
put card and battery back in
still didnt read it

put my sd card in my friends EVO
worked and files were still on there

put my friends sd card in my phone
it worked

put my sd card back in my thunderbolt
woked like new, files still there.

Same SD Card not mounted - grayed out

I took out the battery, took out the SD Card, actually put it in a USB adapter and copied it (all data still there) to a backup drive on my PC, then reinstalled and turned on the phone. It found the SD card, all "SEEMS" ok......but its a little disconcerting.
